Is there an opportunity to view the items prior to purchase?
Absolutely – simply contact us and we’ll arrange a time to visit us in West Sussex.
Are all the items sold in an 'as new' condition?
We do restore pieces to a level that we believe they should be at – in many cases this is ‘as new’ but often they are showing the patina of their age. We take many photographs to give a true representation and as above, all items can be viewed prior to purchase.
Do you buy furniture, as well as sell?
We do – do drop us a line with photos, description and idea on condition, and we’ll come straight back to you. Please use our enquiry form or email us directly at enquiries@thisisamodernworld.com.
Do you sell for other individuals or dealers on your site?
No – everything we offer on Modern World has been sourced by ourselves and is available for viewing at our premises.
Can your furniture be hired rather than purchased for film or photographic shoots?
